Hey, I’m Desiree!
I’ve spent over a decade building services and programs, leading teams, and turning big ideas into real things. But here’s the funny part: I’m not naturally your stereotypical Type A, everything-in-perfect-order kind of person.
I got into operations because I cared about the work and the people behind it. And when one of the programs I helped build grew to serve over 2,100 people in its first year of launching! I learned pretty quickly that growth without the right systems puts a lot of pressure on everyone.
So I built better workflows, clearer team responsibilities, and systems that didn’t require me to manage every detail.
That’s why I started Colibrí Ops. To help people build businesses that run well, deliver great work, and leave room for an actual life outside of them.
Outside of work, I’m an LA-born-and-raised mom of three, wife, and proud Shih Tzu mom. My family and I traded Los Angeles for more travel and flexibility, and we’re currently based in El Salvador.
