Colibrí Ops is run by Colibrí Consulting Collective LLC (“Colibrí Ops,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through colibriops.com, how we use it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email desiree@colibriops.com.

What we collect

The Hidden Hours Calculator

When you use the calculator, we collect:

• your answers, such as your type of business, team size, the hours you estimate for each area, your mental-load answers, and what you would most like to hand off
• the hourly value you enter, only if you choose to try that optional section
• your first name and email address
• the date and time you joined our email list

The Beyond the Ops newsletter

When you sign up for the newsletter, we collect your email address and the date and time you signed up.

Booking a call

Calls are booked through TidyCal. The details you enter there, such as your name, email and any notes, are collected by TidyCal and shared with us so we can prepare for and hold the call.

When you email us

If you email us, we keep the messages and the contact details in them so we can reply.

Technical information

Like any website, our hosting provider receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type. We use it to deliver the site, keep it secure and block spam. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

• to show your calculator results, create your personalized report and email it to you
• to send the Beyond the Ops newsletter, operations tips, resources and updates
• to personalize which emails you receive, based on your calculator results
• to schedule and prepare for calls you book
• to reply to you and to keep the website working and secure

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising.

Who helps us handle it

We use a small number of trusted services to run the website and our email. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job:

• Cloudflare hosts the website and stores calculator results.
• Resend sends your calculator report email.
• MailerLite manages our email list and sends the newsletter and marketing emails.
• TidyCal handles call bookings.
• Google Workspace runs our email inbox, and Google Fonts provides the fonts on this site.

These services may store and process information in the United States and other countries. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Marketing emails

When you use the Hidden Hours Calculator or sign up for the newsletter, you join our email list and receive occasional operations tips, resources and updates, including Beyond the Ops. We say this next to the button before you submit. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to stop them at any time. Your calculator report email is a one-time service email that you asked for, so we send it even if you unsubscribed in the past.

How long we keep it

We keep calculator results and contact details for as long as they are useful for the reasons above, or until you ask us to delete them. If you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we keep a record of that so we do not email you again.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

• tell you what information we have about you
• correct it
• delete it
• stop sending you marketing emails

Email desiree@colibriops.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.

Keeping it safe

We use reputable providers and limit who can see your information. Your report is available through a private link that is hard to guess. No method of sending or storing information online is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is meant for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we will let subscribers know by email.
